The location offers stunning views across the water, making it a picturesque retreat. The dining options, especially the fine dining experience, provide delicious flavors, even if a bit pricey.
The spa facilities left a lot to be desired, particularly with the jacuzzi out of order on my visit. Breakfast service was lacking. it was a hassle to catch the waiter for basic needs like coffee or ordering food. Additional charges for food and drinks can quickly pile up, which made the already expensive stay feel less worthwhile.

Comfortable room, relaxing pool, with free wi-fi available in public areas and easy access via Oxenholme station.

Had an awesome time with friends. We loved the evening at the pool and took a boat trip on Windermere Lake. The views are stunning and the vibe is super chill. Just a heads up, the hotel can get busy, so reserving meals in advance is smart. Definitely try the local food spots nearby for variety.

Stunning views & fab service!
We had an amazing stay for 2 nights! The lake view from our room was just breathtaking. My husband loved just chilling and taking in the scenery, which was perfect since he can’t do much sightseeing. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast options were nice, but the chairs by the pool could use some upgrading.

The Lakeside offered a serene environment, perfect for my work stay. The room was a Lake View Double, which provided an inspiring workspace with beautiful views of the lake. The business center was well-equipped, allowing me to efficiently conduct meetings and manage tasks. The staff was exceptionally professional, promptly assisting with any request, which significantly enhanced my productivity throughout my visit.
WiFi connectivity was inconsistent in the room.

Had a fantastic stay with my friends! We enjoyed a Windermere Lake Cruises trip sailing to Bowness-on-Windermere. The staff were super friendly, and the pool area was relaxing. Don't miss the breakfast – it's solid! Make sure to book a lakeview room for that special touch.
We waited quite a while for dinner service, which was a bit frustrating, but the food was decent.

Amazing views and calm vibes!
Waking up to lake views was stunning! Swimming in the lake every morning was the highlight. The spa was so relaxing, just remember to book in advance. A bit of a letdown was the slow service at the bar. Still, the breakfast spread was top-notch!

A peaceful stay with lovely lake views, the pool and jacuzzi were definite highlights, making for relaxing afternoons. Unfortunately, the dining experience was less impressive, with a menu that felt disjointed and lacked local offerings. Issues with staff service at mealtimes, including a wobbly table and inattentive waitstaff, detracted from the overall enjoyment. Cleanliness was satisfactory, but the decor seemed tired and in need of a refresh.

We had a fantastic family getaway at this hotel! Enjoying a Windermere Lake Cruise was a highlight, and the kids loved the spacious family room. The location was simply stunning, set in a beautiful spot. Dining here was also a treat, with delicious meals.
In my wife’s opinion, children's activities should be more engaging.

Stunning Lake Views and Exceptional Staff
I had a wonderful stay with beautiful views over the lake from my room. The staff were incredible, especially in the dining areas where their attentiveness made every meal special. The breakfast selection was fantastic, offering freshly baked options and delicious vegan treats that catered to our dietary needs. One thing I'd suggest improving is the availability of an earlier dining option for families to make mealtime more convenient, especially with kids.
